The short version
- TriCamp is an AI training aid — not a doctor, physio, or human coach. Train sensibly and get medical clearance before you start.
- Endurance training carries real physical risk. You train at your own risk and are responsible for your own health and safety.
- Subscriptions are billed through the app stores; you can cancel anytime in your store account.
- You keep your data; you give us a limited license to run and improve the Service.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and TriCamp LLC ("TriCamp", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of the TriCamp mobile app, our website, our pre-launch waitlist, and related services (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
01 Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, joining our waitlist, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you use the Service on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf.
02 Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using TriCamp, you represent that you meet this requirement, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you are legally able to enter into this agreement. The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly permit them to create accounts.
03 The TriCamp service
TriCamp is an AI-powered triathlon coaching product. It builds an adaptive training plan around your goals, guides your daily sessions, analyzes the training data you connect, and provides insights, debriefs, and race-day pacing — all through a chat-first experience with an AI coach persona you choose.
- The Service provides general training guidance and information based on the data you provide and connect. It is a software tool, not a substitute for professional medical, coaching, or physiotherapy advice.
- We may add, change, or remove features, and we may set or change limits on the Service, at any time.
- Some features require an active subscription, a connected data source, or a compatible device, and may not be available in every region.
04 Your account
To use most features, you'll create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your login credentials confidential and not share your account.
- Be responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
- Notify us promptly at info@tricamp.ai if you suspect unauthorized use.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts as described in Section 14.
05 Subscriptions, trials & billing
TriCamp offers a free tier and paid AI Coaching subscriptions (monthly or annual). Paid features are optional and clearly identified.
Free trial
We may offer a free trial of AI Coaching. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription and your payment method is charged the applicable price. Trial eligibility is limited to new subscribers and may be withdrawn or changed.
Billing through the app stores
- Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, subject to their terms. Prices are shown in the app before you purchase.
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
- You manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings — not by deleting the app or your TriCamp account.
- Except where required by law or the app store's policies, payments are non-refundable and partial periods are not refunded. Refund requests are handled by the applicable app store.
We may change subscription prices; changes apply to future billing periods and we'll give notice where required. If you don't accept a price change, you can cancel before it takes effect.
06 Pre-launch waitlist
Before TriCamp is generally available, you may join our waitlist by providing your email address. Joining the waitlist doesn't guarantee access, pricing, or availability, and creates no obligation to purchase. We'll use your email to notify you about launch and progress, and you can unsubscribe at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle waitlist emails.
07 Connected services
TriCamp works by analyzing the training and health data you choose to connect from third-party providers — such as Garmin, Wahoo, Apple Health, and Google Health Connect. When you link a service, you authorize us to access the data you approve, and you represent that you have the right to share it. Your use of each provider is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy. We aren't responsible for third-party services, and they may change or discontinue access to their data at any time. You can disconnect any service from Settings → Connections.
08 Health, safety & assumption of risk
- Get cleared first. Consult a qualified physician before beginning or significantly changing any training program, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are recovering from injury, or have any symptoms of concern.
- Listen to your body. Stop and seek medical help if you experience pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, shortness of breath, or any warning sign. Do not train through symptoms because the app scheduled a session.
- Use judgment in the real world. You are responsible for your surroundings — traffic, weather, water and open-water conditions, equipment, and your own limits. Follow all applicable laws and safety practices.
- You assume the risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your training and use of the Service, and you agree that TriCamp is not liable for any injury, illness, or loss arising from it.
09 AI coaching & no medical advice
TriCamp's guidance is generated by artificial intelligence using the information you provide and connect. It is provided for general fitness and informational purposes only.
- Not medical advice. TriCamp does not provide medical, diagnostic, physiotherapy, nutritional, or professional coaching advice, and is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Never disregard or delay professional advice because of something in the app.
- AI has limits. AI-generated guidance may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suitable for your specific circumstances. Use your own judgment and treat it as a starting point, not an instruction you must follow.
- Your responsibility. You decide whether and how to act on any guidance. You are responsible for evaluating its suitability for you.
10 Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and respectfully. You will not:
- Break the law, infringe others' rights, or violate these Terms.
- Access another user's account or data, or misrepresent your identity.
- Reverse engineer, copy, scrape, or create derivative works from the Service, except as allowed by law.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service, or bypass security or usage limits.
- Use the Service to build a competing product or to train a competing AI model.
- Upload malicious code or submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringing.
11 Intellectual property & license
The Service — including the software, AI models, coaching content, text, design, logos, and the "TriCamp" name and marks — is owned by TriCamp or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own, non-commercial training. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. You may not use our name, logo, or brand without our prior written permission.
12 Your content & feedback
You own your content. The training data, messages, goals, and other information you provide or connect remain yours. You grant TriCamp a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and use that content solely to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use them without restriction or obligation to you.
13 Third-party services
The Service integrates with and links to third-party products — connected data providers, the app stores, payment processors, and AI infrastructure. We don't control these services and aren't responsible for their content, practices, availability, or terms. Your use of them is at your own risk and governed by their agreements.
14 Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access — with or without notice — if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your license to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute terms) will continue to apply.
15 Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TriCamp disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any guidance, insight, or result will be accurate, reliable, or achieve any particular training or race outcome. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.
16 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TriCamp and its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or for personal injury or death, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50. These limits apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
17 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TriCamp and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
18 Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at legal@tricamp.ai and try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
Any dispute that isn't resolved informally will be settled by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring a claim in small-claims court where eligible. To the extent permitted by law, you and TriCamp agree that claims may be brought only on an individual basis, and not as part of a class or representative action. You may have the right to opt out of arbitration by notifying us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that can't be waived under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
19 Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you don't agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
